We’ve considered putting in difficulty options so AI speed could certainly be a factor in those.
Yeah we really don’t want any kind of HUD for this at all. It makes it kinda tricky to do stuff like this and basically leaves us with audio and screen effects to telegraph information to the player. We’re still experimenting with effects.
We weren’t thinking of having any usable items per se. There might be some collectable items hidden in parts of the store (super market sweep style 😉 ) but we haven’t nailed down exactly how we’re going to do that yet.
Ah yes, the narrative. The basic premiss is that you’re a low-mid level employee at a clothes shop who gets a call to reset the burgular alarm in the middle of the night. So the road and car part is you driving to the store to do that. Plot isn’t going to be a major factor in the game but we’re hoping to make things pretty surreal as the game progresses.
